SERIES: MAPA DE SUELOS
The pieces form a territory we can access with our body—open, unfinished, and in constant transformation. Their circular shape evokes the earth’s crust: layered minerals drawn around a magnetic core. These layers act like the shifting skins of a living organism.
By joining small fragments of stone, we recreate the geology of our inhabited territory, reconnecting what was fragmented. This process reflects the tension between human acceleration and the slow, visible rhythms of geological time visible in the earth’s crust.
