Water and its connection to Peruvian territory is the central theme of the Rivers series. Flowing from Andean glaciers, rivers nourish both Pacific and Atlantic ecosystems, linking biodiversity with local communities across a vast landscape.

Water shapes Lima’s social and economic networks, making the desert habitable. Through exploring the ties between the Andes and the sea, we create textiles woven by coastal and Andean communities from vegetable and animal fibers, hand-spun and naturally dyed to carry the essence of their landscapes.
